The body of a 7-year-old boy who went missing on Monday was found Wednesday on train tracks in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. Police said the boy appeared to have been run over by a train.
According to police, the boy, identified as Hesan Jo, had gone to a park with his father and brother on Monday afternoon. Sports Nippon reported that he wandered off at around midday. His father reported him missing that afternoon.
Police said they received a call at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, reporting that a boy's body was lying on the tracks of the JR Shinoi line about one kilometer away from the park.© Japan Today
