The bones were discovered when a man related to the company was found dead on the premises last fall. Police do not believe his death was suspicious.

He probably found the room with a mountain of human bones in it.

But does all this mean the company instead of manufacturing skeletal models was just using actual human remains instead? Or is this a research thing?

India no longer exports human bones. Neither does China.

"For a while, China took over India’s role as global bone merchant, but they also banned exports in 2008."

Not much demand for anatomical specimens these days but it's a bit grim the remains were just left lying around for the last decade or so.

Come on, there is nothing that states in the article that they were just "lying around". Trying to make it sound like something that it isnt. Nothing grim about it.

Your logic is like saying banks have cash lying around.

OMG, Speechless. Bones imported from India ! What else can't Japan import, and India can't export ?
