I'm begining to worry about this. My whippet is 13. Yesterday, he escaped when some vistors came. After I'd disposed of them, I went to the park, but according to the park goers (who all love him), he hadn't been there. When I got home, he was waiting in front of the door. No idea where he went, and no idea how long he can keep this up. Dogs stay young seemingly forever, but their demise is sudden.

With Japanese dogs h aving the longest lifespan in the world,it's heartwarming people are volunteering to help dogs in old age. Only in Japan will you see people put diapers on their elderly dogs, dress them in winter coats, and wheel disabled dogs in dog prams etc. It's because they are family members!

Ganbare Japan! - With Japanese dogs h aving the longest lifespan in the world

Oh, good grief! Do you just make this stuff up to suit yourself? Japanese dogs have one of the shortest lifespans because people feed them rice, which dogs can’t difest.

"having to take the dog out every two hours to use the toilet at night was taking its toll..."

Why can't dogs be trained to use litter boxes?

What did you do to your visitors?

It's so good. Actually many owners of old dog are lonely. Vets can check up it, but they aren't the specialists of dog care in dairy life. Treatment of old dogs isn't easy. Many of them have some troubles and they can't speak. Many owners need practical advice and support from specialists at reasonable prices.

Laguna: Glad your dog came back safe and sound. My chihuahua isn't a fan of the outdoors, so I end up taking it for carries. It has me trained well.

No. Of course, to know this is alutterly incorrect, you'd have to actually experience the world outside Japan.
