That's one fat cat!

Still too many. TNR - trap, neuter, and if you can't rehome them, return them to their 'hood. This results in less breeding, less sickness, fewer complaints from humans about noise and mess, and almost zero suffering and killing.

Agree. There is absolutely no reason to kill them.

I want this in every trains in the country.

Soon there will be "Cat Only" cars on the trains...

This is a nice idea, unless you are allergic to cats.

no stray dogs in Japan, only cats. cats kill native birds. i have two living next to me. i don't agree with animal murder so neuter is the best choice.

on a different topic, the last carriage on trains should be pet friendly. if you don't have a car it impossible to travel. taxis, trains and buses don't allow. only ANA allows pets but fares are expensive.

by native birds you mean pigeons? The more cats the better then, cause them flying rats only spread disease.

This may not be such a good idea as cats are prone to have motion sickness.

They should find out if the strays are comfortable being on these trains. Many cats get car sick when their owners transport them in cars. Cats aren't like dogs who enjoy the fresh air from the windows and being around strangers can cause additional stress. Those meows could be cries for help.

Japanese folks have serious issues aren’t going to go away, private train for cat?,lol

@Kimball, I'm allergic to cats, an so are a lot of people. That train will be filled with cat dander (and perhaps fleas), and it's one train I'll never ride.

What a "Purr"fect way to raise awareness! Really makes you "paws" for thought on the matter. Otherwise its a topic then tends to get "fur"gotten!
