Nationalism sometimes makes leaders hard of herring...

Get ready for another round of but-Japan-is-the-aggressor rhetoric with some of our not-in-any-way-biased-and-deep-down-want-only-the-best-for-Japan regulars.

Somebody has ulterior motives, but it's not Japan....

Nice headline JT. It's got sole. I codn't have done better myself and had a whale of a time reading the story.
Sentiments
It seems in south china sea it doesn't matter that the sea and islands are disputed by several country, not to mention proximity. According to Chunying it is Chinas law and only Chinas law that matters in this case. Now regarding the east china sea is this not the most obvious double-standard ever seen in human history? Is China trying to make themselves look like perfect fouls in the eyes of the international community?

China is sounding like North Korea, I can't wait to see the outfits.

Hey China! Screw you and your fantasy rules and regulations - you don't have the right to anything in the high seas.

They are not the high seas Deja vu again. Several countries collectively claim all the South China Sea. China's claim does appear too large to just look. But so does Vietnam's. So does the Philippines. But its not looks that matter. Its history. And I note that China's is very, very old. Without knowing A LOT more, I cannot judge.

Wow! Chides? Carping? Somebody has been going nuts in their dictionary.
Stability in this region rests on the hands of the two biggest children in the region.

I've written my State Senator and recommend a Bill introduced to Congress to be drafted proposing the remaining of the South China Sea and the East China Sea.
The proposal will be to rename the 2 Seas to:
"East Asian Sea" and the "South Asian Sea".
The question came up: East of what?
I explained: "East of Greenwich Time Zone"
These 2 renamed seas will continue to be "International Waters" and still under the footprint if Global Positioning Satelite (GPS).
Ms. Chunying and her Communist Party can simmer over that once the bill goes to the house floor for a Vote - and it will pass.
