The USA should not attend the meeting.

China's leaders are like 6th graders from their military leaders to their foreign ministry.

Japan's leaders again show their reluctance to recognize their own countries uncivilized behavior and blame others for not understanding.

The chinese seem to suffer from the petty little short man syndrome , perhaps they could stand on a stool.

Get over it China...
Yes, the Japanese nationalist government is annoying but what else is new? It is clear that the leadership of the whole region has a lot of growing up to do.

This is PROOF POSITIVE there is NO mistake in the PROVOCATIONS that are occuring between the two countries. Do NOT be surprised when there is ultimately some " International Incident " between the countries, whether in the Air, or on the Sea.

I'm sure they're heart broken to be kept out of the third world playing pen. It's probably because their toys are fancier than the Chinese. This could be a high school movie where China has a D&D club no one wants to be in, but all the poor kids are coerced to spend their Easter holiday playing and kissing up or they'll have all their toys stolen.
Actually I think south park already had an episode like this, it probably involved cripples.

Notice any other countries absent from this list? (See below)
Quote: "Seven ships from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Brunei had arrived in Qingdao on Sunday and would join Chinese ships in an exercise that would include maritime rescue operations, Xinhua said."
For example: No Sri Lanka, Koreas, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

Agreed. Little child in the playground attitude. The reality is that the action is entirely political and serves to bolster the Politburo's position in a time where the Chinese people are getting impatient with reform.

China's offended, and refuses to help mend ties with Japan, huh? Yawn
