From another article here on JT:

“Generally speaking, China does not feel there is an air security threat from ASEAN countries,” the ministry said, referring to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Yeah, right. The threat is not from ASEAN countries. It is clearly from China.

Buzz off China, or you'll get an azzwhipping.

Are you say that it is "disputed waters"? If there are "disputed waters", what is the news that Chinese ships go there?

I have to wonder how Chinese want to solve this issue.

I can only think the Chinese want an armed conflict that develops into a war.

Disputed waters? Japan says there is no dispute, how can they be disputed?

Gee whiz Mom is that a Chinese chip invading Japanese territories again?

Gee whiz Mom is that a Chinese chip invading Philippine territories again?

Gee whiz Mom is that a Chinese chip invading Vietnamese territories again?

And the list keeps going, but please dear friends remember, the Chinese are not invading your territories they are just reminding you that the sea lanes that are your are really theirs.

Communist China, the greatest threat to world peace since Nazis Germany and Soviet Russia.

Brought to you by the "Remember September 17th" foundation.

1839 was a terrible year for world peace, let's hope that 2014 is a much better year. But sadly, at the rate of Communist China's aggression peace will be passe' by years end.

Communist Chinese leaders have wasting their Navy resource and time for nothing. The Communist leaders know there will be nothing changing but they continue to harass its neighbor. The problem with Communist Government is they connect one problem to others. So if you can't stop investing and doing business in China and then let them do as they pleased unless direct threatening to Japanese Sovereignty. They are group of crazy power mongers.

At least they are not flying jets over it. Let's keep it this way. Airplanes are off limit for everyone. If you say it's your territory so you can do anything. Then both sides can say the same and we go back to escalations toward conflict.

how is this newsworthy? We don't hear about anyhing when Japanese patrol near disputed waters

In my humble opinion the conflict will start by accident. Somewhere, somehow an order misunderstood or the actions of the other side misunderstood. Perhaps a November Delta resulting in casualties.

You must not be able to read certain web-sites or just turn a blind eye to reports you don't like.

Air Self-Defense Force fighter jets scrambled against Chinese aircraft 138 times in the last three months of 2013

Please, if you have proof of this by all means provide it.

Oh wait, I see, your argument is that Japan shouldn't patrol their own territory because Communist China deems it as it's very own. So, when Japan patrols it's territory you think that they are patrolling disputed seas!

That is a good one..

Prior to 1969 Communist China deemed the islands Japanese territory, but the UN discovers changed the Communist Chinese minds and then they draped a flag over the islands and began to cry a river of tears.

Okay, this gives you a great opportunity to help to tell us why was it that it took discovery of vast amount of natural resources for Communist China to take an interest in the Senkaku Islands?

Can you show us here any proof that China objected to the Senkaku Islands during or after the San Francisco treaty?

Or how come Communist China in 1950's said that the Islands were part of Japan?

http://www.japantoday.com/category/national/view/chinese-diplomatic-document-from-1950-clearly-states-senkaku-islands-part-of-Okinawa

Now, here is your chance to bash all those facts and speculations by bringing your proof to the table!

Go for it!

But, sadly I don't expect that you or any other person will or can refute the truth.

By this time I guess the crews want a change of scenery?

Better coast guard than navy at least.

China just keeps provoking, and Japan has to respond. The onus is on China to stop this, but alas I expect they won´t.
