Japan’s largest recipe site, CookPad, has launched an English site, which went live on Monday.
According to CookPad, there are about 55,000 Japanese restaurants around the world. Words such as miso soup and bento are no longer foreign words and interest in Japanese cuisine is increasing.
The new English website includes 1,500 Japanese home-style dishes. Cookpad says all the dishes on the English site can easily be cooked at home in any country. It said that more recipes are on the way.
English recipes are also accessible on tablets and smartphones.

Good stuff! My wife uses CookPad a lot. Their recipes are pretty good. It'll be nice to cook up some Japanese stuff for her for a change.

Seems like an afterthought compared to the Japanese website. Just a few recipes with no search, ranking or anything. Even took me a while to find the small "English" link on the bottom of the page. They should have just built a multi-language feature into the original site and filtered out the recipes that aren't translated yet.
