Police said Monday that a dead shark was found dumped in Yoyogi Park on Sunday morning.

A security guard found the 1.5-meter-long shark, which had been gutted, at the entrance to the park nearest Shibuya Station at about 7 a.m., NTV reported. It was wrapped in a blue sheet.

If the fins were still attached, you can rule out the Chinese.

There must be some people really laughing at this silly prank.

Lucky the guy who found it! If claimed,he's entitled to 20%; if unclaimed after a month, the whole shark is his!

Weird. I could see if it were in a park in a town off the coast, but in Yoyogi park? Where'd they get the thing to begin with?

Any joggers in Yoyogi park this morning really would have had to jump the shark.

But what does this mean, with reference to where Luca Brasi sleeps?

Probably this shark was gutted right after the moeru gomi truck had picked up the moeru gomi for the week.

How does such an insignificant item make the news at all.

It was left there by a man who had photographed the creature and went home with the intention of retrieving it later, according to the police.
