Let’s hope the UAE doesn’t violate their human rights. Entire staff must be Japanese for the Ministry to give this ‘National’ attention in Japanese media:

Suspected it was inevitable but never read of a cluster centering around a kaiten sushi restaurant in Japan. Most took adequate precautions early on to prevent contamination amongst guests but imagine the kitchen staff & work environ is quite demanding & stressful in close quarters.

Maybe being in the middle of a new wave caused by a new variant of much higher transmissibility is not the best time to be holding international events for multitudes. Omicron may not be as dangerous, but it can still make health services crumble by the number of people requiring treatment.
