RIP great designer and good guy. I wore one of his coats for years, a beautiful thing it was.

A very nice photo for this article. He looks great and very happy in his beautiful garden.

Takada-san lived a full life doing what he loved and creating items which made people happy. A life well lived and worthy of celebration.

But it was lowly beginnings: Takada’s first collection at the store called was made entirely out of cotton because he had little money. But the clothes spoke for themselves and a model of his was put on the cover of Elle magazine.

Really inspiring stuff.

A shame, he still had many more to give, even at 81.

Covid is raging in Europe right now - why have the EU failed so dismally to control it?

After this whole thing is gone, the every country in the World should compile a list of all its prominent citizens, artists, athletes taken from us and ask for an apology from China.

There are Viruses not as deadly as portrayed if people are healthy. If you are Old and have multiple Co-Morbidities you can sneeze and Fracture the Ribs and Die. A Cold can send you off. The Coronavirus is in the Family of Colds. If you are unhealthy do something to improve your situation.

Here's an example of a man in my street. About 80 years old. In the last year he had developed a condition that cut down his activities somewhat. But he still walked his dog every day and could often be seen working in his garden. He contracted Covid (from his wife who had contracted it at the doctor's surgery - another story). Ten days after testing positive, he died. I think that pattern is probably typical for older people. I think "from Covid" is an appropriate cause of death. What good would an autopsy do?

Anyway, RIP Kenzo. You brought a lot to many people.

Albaleo, I am sure you are not aware what the doctor's report listed as cause of death?

If he tested positive before he died, don't think there is need for an autopsy.

This is very sad. He was actually a very great guy. RIP.
