Wait!!!! If it's such an iconic and historical facility, where are the protesters crying about the destruction of the "history" of Japan! It's even survived a historical earthquake, that happened soon after it opened!

Who cares that the performers complain! They are fortunate to even be able to perform there and they should just "gaman" as the show must go on!

I guess it just goes to show that people are awfully selective in what should stay or go! Oh and I am pretty sure a few trees are going to be taken down to accommodate the new facility too!

the facility's age has begun to show, with performers complaining their preparation and waiting areas are cramped and difficult to use.
