Thank you Mr. Eduardo Martinez and JT for publishing this article.
More than ever the time has come for Palestine and the Palestinian people to recognized on the world stage.
Ms. Siam and so many other Palestinians like her and her family have been forced and kicked out of their homeland Palestine so many time starting in 1948, then 1967 to make room for settlers arriving for around the globe to establish the state of Israel as we know it today.
The Palestinian people must carry on with their struggle to return to their STOLEN land, homes, and properties at any cost.

""U.S. President Joe Biden said there had been a "ferocious surge" in antisemitism in the United States and around the world following Hamas' attacks during a speech in remembrance of the Holocaust earlier this month.""
Nothing Anti Semitic about asking for the return of what has been stolen from your grandparents, Parents, and you.

You do realize that when President Trump comes into power after the November election, he will assist Israel in much much greater ways. Trump will definitely cancel the visas of Palestine supporters who do protest in the USA regularly and deport them back to their countries. He will sign executive orders and the GOP will fully stand behind him!
So should the Native American Indians also demand all their land back. Should the Aboriginal people do the same in Australia. Perhaps the Māoris do the same in New Zealand. In Japan the Ainu people should ask for all the land in the northern areas be returned to them!
History easily reflects how much of the world as we see it today belonged to someone else and was stolen from the natives / indigenous people.

Irrespective of whose land it is, should be or was, what the IDF are doing right now is criminal and inhumane. I think this article did a great job of reminding us that these are not chess pieces being affected here, they are very real people.

The Gazan "final solution ", the "extermination camps " for Gazans', herded into area by the IDF, the Gazan "Buchenwald," ,or Gazan " Chelmo ", the genocide , the Gazan Holocaust....
Never forget, never forgive.

Obsolete argument, can't even begin to compare, better come up with some new ones.
These indigenous people are living equally on their lands today and are given the same rights as all other citizens of these nations, US native have as much rights as any U.S. citizen.
The right to a citizenship, the right to vote, the right to travel freely in their nations, the right to assemble, and the right to buy and sell what ever they wish.
The Palestinians are confined and stripped of every right a human could ask for. can't apply for citizenship, can't assemble, Can't vote, can't travel freely, can't own the very same land they had for hundreds of years, treated as second class citizens and on top of all that they get jailed and detained indefinitely and as young as 9 years old for just Being a Palestinians.

The war criminals is the IDF and the Israeli Govt should be in jail now!
This injustice has been going too long! A 77 year struggle is TOO LONG! Give Palestinians a state and return their land as a minimum to 1948 borders!

""Breslau, who is half-Japanese and half-Jewish American, said it "took years" of study to understand the Palestinian struggle, and what really led to a decision to reject Zionism, or the belief that supports the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, was anti-Zionist writing by Jewish scholars.""
Yes, those who wish to educate themselves on the matter will discover the truth and the reality on the ground like most Jewish supporters who Rejected Zionism and sided with the Jewish and Palestinians movements.

Two sides to every story.

When will the Palestinian people call out Hamas and put the blame for starting all this on them?
Certainly Israel is guilty and those in charge should be held accountable as well, but I really have a hard time with making it sound like the Palestinians are blameless.
Yubaru
And what about the Hamas terrorists? I guess you think they are blame free!

You can't own what was never yours.

be careful they may take you literally and start killing babies lighting them on fire and raping women in front of their husbands before they are slaughtered

Here is a little about the history of Palestine for those who wish to learn about the roots of this conflict.

Why does Israel keep bombing schools and hospitals? Yes we launch missiles from them to Israel.

And now the meaningless protests will start.
Israël is getting support from western countries so no matter what everyone has blood on there hands.

Yet again the monolithic UN proves itself to be totally impotent - they can't even call an emergency Security Council meeting to bring all parties to the table, and then to make them stay there until a ceasefire solution is hammered out.
Only the ICJ has intervened (and South Africa, to an extent), and rightly called Netanyahu and the 3 Hamas leaders out as War Criminals, for the very good reason that far too many innocent people have been killed and maimed in this pointless war. Only strong diplomatic intervention will bring about a ceasefire.
With a killing ratio of 24 Palestinian people to 1 Israeli, this has all the hallmarks of state sponsored collective punishment, and Netanyahu has felt like he has Carte Blanche to continue with such vicious, sadistic state-terrorism.

Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel are becoming increasingly isolated internationally – they need to listen to their friends.
bass4funk
No, they really don’t at this point.
They just won’t win this conflict. Hamas destroyed that dream for the Palestinians.

the people of palestine allowed Hamas to exist. Are you telling me those Hamas terrorist dug tunnels and the people of Palestine did not know? What about the people kidnapped, raped and killed by Hamas? Shouldn’t the people of Palestine be partially accountable? What about the dead Palestinians? Well you were told to evacuate and yes there is always casualties of war but remember they allowed hamas terrorist to run their land. Stop shifting the blame and time to take some responsibility!
bass4funk
That will never stop their resolve or their objective. They need to push ahead.
Not when it comes to the survival of the Jewish race.
wallace
Israel cannot live internationally isolated. The Jewish race is not under threat of not surviving. The only solution is between the Israelis and the Palestinians. There is no other way—a three-state solution.
