Problems and crisis are always profitable. Things running smoothly are not near as profitable. Fukushima will continue to be profitable to sub contractors as long as the problem is never solved. It will also be profitable to doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. It will remain profitable for rental properties is supposed safe areas and to real estate companies. And so it goes right up to government workers and politicians that will benefit from it all. It will be profitable for the Yakusa as well.

@Citizen2012: I think if you believe everything the autorities say is false and your own life, and specially your kids'life is in danger, this is a huge reason to leave, no matter how good your job or other things could be. We are speaking about expats who have a native place that is only waiting for them, where they can live without the obsession the government lies about everything. After Fukushima many foreigners left Japan. These people were more honest than all the ones who always complain but continue to remain in Japan. Maybe they remain because after all they don't think that everything is a lie how they write, and in this case their posts are useless and dishonest rants. But if they actually believe in what they write, that everything about radiation in Japan or any other problem is a huge lie, well they are irresponsable and negligent parents.

I wonder how some people who don't trust anything Japanese companies or autorities say can continue to live in Japan.

Strange question, because people settled there long time ago and there is no reason why they should leave everything, instead the parties at fault, the authorities and companies, should change in an ideal world.

Even my home fan has a safety thermal switch, in case it over heats and if it's an industrial fan, it should also have the same protection built into the motor windings. Does anyone know what company made this fan? "No radiation danger to the public" you if believe that, there is a nice bridge in Brooklyn I have for sale. After almost 25 years in country I have ceased to believe and since the fukushima man-made disaster I really really don't believe.

even a full meltdown wasn't a danger to the public, reinstating dozens of reactors on earthquake fault lines are not a danger to the public, nor is any of the water contamination a danger to the public. There is simply no danger to the public in any way that makes the phrase danger to the public have any meaning
