Global warming brings Pinot Noir cultivation to Japan's north

Outside needed temperature, quality of soil is essential and Hokkaido is known for good agriculture lands.

Global warming benefits us all.

Yet the price of wine production in Japan means it is much more expensive than any imported wine....

If we try hard enough, we can warm the planet so much that pinot noir can be grown in Antarctica. After that, the whole planet will be too warm for grapes.
