Which Japanese group is politically stronger: those making their livings getting food from the sea, or those from major industries with zero regard for ways their industries' use of energy and the pollution created by their industries affect climate change.

So the corals around Okinawa are not in any danger of extinction but will flourish under global warming? That must be very unsettling to the pro-environmental folks. Get rid of global warming and the precious Okinawan corals will die.
