What a mess!! Dream Liner?? More like nightmare!!! And more like a horrible disaster just waiting to happen!! IMHO

Not all X-ray scans are equal. It depends on the resolution. It's possible that the kinds of manufacturing defects causing the problems are too small to see in the currently used resolution.

I wonder if it is "user" error by the JAL maintenance teams. You do not read about any current similar problems with the other airlines that are now employing the 787 Dreamliner: ANA, United, etc...
