Was Kan an idiot?? Or is he still a useless idiot?? My guess, yes! Can he be arrested for being a bumbling useless idiot Japanese prime minister? Not too sure, but from what my Japanese friends tell me, nobody is happy with Mr.Kan! Anyway, the LDP, Tepco etc..are all guilty of having made these nuclear power plants way too close to the sea and now we all have to pay the consequences of their greed and stupidity! I feel so sad for the good people of Fukushima and now Taiwan is having radiation problems?? No fish for me from Taiwan (just as I also avoid any fish etc..from the Fukushima area.) Let Kan, and all the corrupt officials in Tepco, the LDP PAY and eat all the fish etc..from Fukushima!

Its because Koreans have forgery charges in relation to falsified safety certificates. You cannot arrest someone for TRYING to manage a disaster, Just imagine a 25meters high water wave. Its a job nobody wants.

Taiwanese and korean officials are probably worse for corruption and back handers than the Japanese, false documents is only the tip of the poverbial ice berg, dig deeper you'll be amazed what you'll find.

"Prosecutors are conducting a massive investigation into flawed nuclear reactors, arresting dozens of officials and parts makers on bribery and forgery charges in relation to falsified safety certificates."
Probably the only time you could genuinely say these guys might wish they were in Japan, facing Japanese law -- instead of being arrested they'd be handed half a million dollars and given a new job.

It's because all these countries are using decades-old designs. Let's keep up with technology so we can have safer power that saves lives and our environment.

Fact! N power is unsafe, if in doubt read above, or open your eyes! Taste the fish.

Nice to see that 100 tons is no longer mislabeled as "leaking" or "seeping", but more accurately as "pouring". Perhaps they have been reading my comments about this for the last few weeks.

For Japan,
And for South Korea
What a contrast between South Korea and Japan!!!!! While South Korea is putting holding responsible people in the whole nuke energy production value chain to account, Japan is contented with the status quo, allowing nuke plant culprits goscot-free, and eagerly waiting for restart of the old faulty nuke plants!!! The culture of lack of accountability for nuke mess in Japan is costing dearly not only Japan, but the whole world...
