Not having a Visa/permisisoñ is illegal and stupid.

Nothing to do with KARMA.

Hope they could keep their film. Sounds interesting.

Well, regardless of the press freedom track record in Indonesia, law is law, and one cannot simply work just with a tourist visa.

Considering I just came from the article of Japan keeping hundreds in a detention center without deporting them, I feel you are trying to be ironic.

Dude, good point.

They were very lucky not to have been kept in a dentention center for months or years.  I guess indonesia has a better human rights record than Japan!

To be put in a context, Indonesia do jail Ahok, the first Chinese governor of Jakarta for insulting Islam, so not sure whether that considered good human right records!

I didn't say they had a good human rights record-only one that was better than Japan's.

Working without the correct visa-they are lucky they didn't end up in a detention centre, aren't they?

Without the proper documentation they were taking a risk and they lucked out.......

There seems to be a big increase i the number of Japanese being deported around the world for working on incorrect visas. Are their management totally incompetent or just lazy?

Indonesian "Asian" government is killing "execution style" the indigenous "Black" people over land because of the minerals and other resources.

That is what all these journalist are trying to share with the rest of the world. The indigenous people don't have a voice. Most people don't even realize they even exist which makes it easy for the government to destroy these people.

The way things are going in Indonesia, Aceh-ism is going to spread nation-wide.
