Everyone should be very confident to buy tickets on A350 after watching that dismantling today. Two tractors had a hell of a time trying to pick that carbon fiber wing apart - it DID not want to come apart easily. Usually when you watch same in aluminum aircraft dismantling, it is like peeling a soda can.

Well argued. I think I'll be seeking out and booking one of these amazing Airbus A350s next flight. It seems they can survive collisions - and take a hell of a long time to really start burning, giving enough time to hopefully evacuate. Great aircraft.

There was a NOTAM that the stop bars not serviceable. This could have caused confusion with the JCG pilots. I am a Cat 4 driver for Qantas Airways and cross runways a few times a day in Sydney. Though not as busy as Haneda we still have strict procedures that we follow. I also have to sit for my Cat 4 license every2 years. I also hold a Radio certificate of proficiency. The pilots also should have confirmed with each other about what was said on the radio and what they where doing.

Captain of the Coast Guard aircraft, the sole survivor, is under scrutiny after authorities released control tower transcripts appearing to show he was ordered to enter a holding area near the runway before the crash occurred. He said he had permission to enter the runway, the Coast Guard said on Wednesday, acknowledging there was no indication of that in the transcripts.

Here transcript between JA722A with Control Tower:

JA722A not only already receive that message, JA722A already confirm tower message and understood that message. If understood, why JA722A keep going to runway?

Well, it's about time. When trains crash into people, the delay is only about an hour to 90 minutes. So many people travelling in and out of Tokyo are being inconvenienced by whoever is on charge dragging their feet. Get it done already.
