If you like low infection & death numbers, booster shots should not be an issue or problem. Treatment capsules are also on the horizon.

his may be the last winter that COVID will be a serious issue!

No - That is totally wrong. For AZ, Pfizer and Moderna it was VERY clear from the START that 2 shots was fully vaccinated for travel - and to be considered fully vaccinated. 1 shot for J&J in the countries that recognised it.
You will not be able to find anything from a reliable source to support your statement above at 9:26 am @Burning Bush.
NOMINATION
Are you able to say that? lol
Bob Fosse
You have no evidence to support this claim.

If 2 didn't work it's pretty obvious 3 won't either which I am sure the drug companies will be very sad about .....not

Saying that you can do something is very different than saying you need to do something, if one or two doses are enough to protect most of the population then saying 3 are necessary is simply false.
Which clearly proves why scientific data is necessary and personal experience is a terribly poor replacement.
Terribly sorry but without actual scientific evidence the baseless predictions from nameless people in the internet can be safely discarded.
First, two doses are working wonderfully to reduce very importantly the risk from COVID. Second, try giving a look at the vaccination schedule, you will be surprised to find out vaccines that protect for life with a booster given months or years after one or two inoculations, which would prove your conclusion as false.

flu vaccine is a yearly shot, effectively a booster shot each time you take it,

Tell you what @Burning Bush - Come with me, We'll do our 3rd together. Get bang on the beers after and have a good old chat.
Yes - Sign me up for the third. I'd be due end of February. Right now, Fully Vaccinated is 2 shots. Fact. 2 Shots gets you past almost any border in the world now, much easier than NOT being vaccinated. That may well change, but it hasn't yet. So don't make stuff up.

@Ego Sum Lux Mundi: Yes? What's your point? Isn't this righly a sensible precaution. Why risk Myocarditis even with the remote possibility of it occurring? The numbers of people being vaccinated are so vast its almost beyond comprehension. It's a natural learning curve. You sad anti-vaxxers ARE losing the battle. Why don't you see that?
Yrral
Moderna do want to share with NIH, Covid profits
theResident
Heard? What does that exactly mean?
theResident
Once again @Sanjinosebleed: You don't actually have a sensible comment about the vaccine, as you can''t provide a sensible argument - now you have to poke at the drug companies.

I will gladly get a booster when it becomes available and it’s my time. It’s what I can do to protect myself and also to protect others.
Bob Fosse
Correct.
Incorrect.

@Sanjinosebleed
May: 5,000 cases 7 day average, 1% vaccinated
November: 180 cases 7 day average, 74% vaccinated
Yeah, it didn't work /s

The German government has just joined several other European countries and announced that people aged under 30 should only receive the Biontech/Pfizer vaccine as it causes fewer heart inflammations in younger people than the Moderna shot.

That's reassuring, then.
Ronin Tsukebin
What does this mean?
virusrex
Except for special cases this is not true, the scientific evidence says that most of the population is adequately protected by the original vaccination schedule. And according to some reports this is higher protection than being naturally infected.
