Chinese internal memo in response to the Japanese complaint “Make sure you hide those fire ant nests far better than you have been for the containers bound for Japan”.
I can only imagine the laughing and jokes on the Chinese end with regards to this “additional” Chinese export!
On a more serious note, fire ants are very unwelcome visitor to any country who does not have them and the Japanese are right to be concerned.
Possibly lob some of those giant Japanese hornets nests into some containers bound for Beijing to drive the seriousness of the point home to the Chinese.

The Chinese already have a huge problem with Red Fire Ants since 2004. Without doubt all nations everywhere need to coordinate their efforts against this common invader.
They also have a problem with Asian Giant Hornets.

Are you seriously saying that Chinese exporters intentionally put fire ants into their shipments? That would be an absurd accusation.

The CCP is like that 80's era denstist... Desperately try to spread disease. The local corrupt government refuses to accept responsibility and hopes it can infect as many people as possible. Try as Russia might, it is nowhere near as awful as the CCP. But, it will probably find a way.

In the mean-time, maybe, the CCP is busy stuffing fire-ants into every corner of the shipping containers. Why does Japan even pretend that there is a legal process to this matter? The CCP is a fake and evil cabal that gets away with whatever it can because the EU, Engliand, the USA, Africa, and Russia, want that cheat-cheat money.

Maybe it works that way in crazyland. But in China, the products being exported, the shipping containers, the freight forwarders and the ships are all owned by private companies that are focused on keeping their customers happy. None of them would want fire ants in their shipment, and there is no reason at all why there would be a secret government conspiracy to do so. I am no fan of the CCP, but a little reason goes a long way. This sort of accusation is about as logical as the rumor in Japan that McDonald's used worms in the burger beef as filler. Even one deep breath is enough to clear the head of that fog.

Too little too late in any case. I think they have arrived in at least 3-4 prefectures in Japan.

if Japan is really serious, send inspectors to the Chinese ports.

Seems China is acting - they're getting rid of their fire ant problem by sending them to Japan.

Not sure why China would have any reservations. After all, without an effort at the loading port, Japan will be left with no alternative to a quarantine period at the discharge port in Japan.

Fireants were origin from South America, they invaded North America in 1930s! And they spread througout the world including China! I think the world should have a common procedure to gas those parasitic insects that is harzardous to human race! An acceptable hygeine standrad must be implied with Cargo or containers of pest control!

In the American state of Alabama there are huge colonies of red fire ants along the road. The ants are flying in the air. You just keep on driving, and don't roll your windows down! Keep them up and keep on driving!
