Good of Japan to contribute to a program which aims to help people from other countries, not just their own.

Good for Japan. It is very regrettable that the number 1 and 2 richest nations refuse to contribute to help vaccinate 3rd world nations against this awful killer virus. Japan is a responsible global citizen.

Don't sign the check ..

If you spend the money to feed 1 in 6 children living under the poverty line, in Osaka, their health will be stronger to fight the virus

Get the Russian Vaccine if needed, a safe vaccine without an agenda.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Putin doesn’t have an agenda. And you think we’re stupid enough to buy that?!

I’d let Gates inject a vaccine into my eye before I’d take any vaccine rushed out by Russia.

here we go with the anti-vaxxers again...

Healthy eating does help improve immune system response. However this virus is particularly infectious and one shouldn’t count on their immune system to protect then from it, as it gets past the immune systems of very healthy people.

as it gets past the immune systems of very healthy people.

and then does...nothing.

the odds of anyone relatively healthy under the age of 70 dying is negligible.

Dying isn’t what we need to worry about. When you’re dead nothing matters anymore.

It’s living with the after effects of the virus that is scary. Maybe you don’t worry about scarred lungs and endless fatigue. But after a lifetime focused on health and exercise, to me that’s a life sentence - I’d be trapped inside my body.

Enjoy that when you get it from your “Democrat Hoax”.

except scarred lungs only occurred in those needlessly hooked up to ventilators early on when they didn't need to be. And no longer are. Endless fatigue? Interesting little myth with absolutely no documented evidence or even a timeframe to claim it in.

The fact is, the medical field has vastly improved its response and treatment from 6 months ago. We also learned a very valuable lesson (thanks to Gov Cuomo and 15000 dead New Yorkers) that forcing positive cases back into retirement homes is NOT a good idea. The facts and the SCIENCE tells us that the Wuhan flu is just that. A slightly aggressive flu.

Bob

In the US, the death rate from covid for those aged 70-75 is over 10%. There are 8 million Americans of that age, who will on average live another 9 years barring death from Covid

You are immoral if you think they don't count.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

woops,

10% of 8 million is 800,000 Americans.

You are immoral to suggest 800,000 dead Americans don't count.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Black Sabbath - Johns Hopkins says 3%. And since the sheer amount of asymptomatic cases is generally assumed to be 10x the known case count - much, much lower.

And I never wrote the words "don't" or "count" anywhere. You are not only in error, you are projecting.

It’s weird that some adults need to be reminded that just making stuff up and putting it into a post doesn’t make it reality, even though trump really wishes it did.

The above is patently wrong. I’d be embarrassed if I were called out for making up things without fact checking. But some people have no shame I guess.

this has been known for months.

DO keep up.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

@bob

Back up your claim that only people hooked up to ventilators suffer lung damage.

DO argue in good faith.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Back up your claim that only people hooked up to ventilators suffer lung damage.

Ill do that as soon as you point out where I said "only people hooked up to ventilators suffer lung damage"

I'll wait...

"It is very regrettable that the number 1 and 2 richest nations refuse to contribute to help vaccinate 3rd world nations"

China has the second largest GDP; it is extremely far from being the number 2 richest country in the World.

Having a large GDP and being rich, completely different things.

Good job Japan.

You said ‘only’.

Back up your claim.

Argue with accuracy and in good faith.

This is a serious matter.

Bob

No. In arguing the lethality of Covid 19, you wrote "the odds of anyone relatively healthy under the age of 70 dying is negligible."

My reply is: the death rate for those over 70 is greater than 10%. Which you ignore. Which is immoral.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

At this juncture, you have a choice:

either admit that excluding 800,000 dead Americans -- with a of life yet to live. -- is wrong or,

stand by your guns and demonstrate you are a sociopath

The choice is yours.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

@jimizo unfortunately you left out the following; "needlessly" and "when they don't need to be"

as in, early on, before lessons were learned. Take your own advice, dear sir.

@Black Sabbath your 10% death rate and 800000 dead Americans are laughable. One only needs to look at all available Johns Hopkins statistics as well as a falling death rate.

You can keep repeating your false information, but thankfully it will not become true.

Sorry fellas. People around the world are slowly realizing they've been duped. Economies and lives have been greatly damaged because unlike Sweden, many leaders decided to give into panic rather than listen to the scientists.

There are very few adults left in the room these days.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The WHO is tainted by China, just like the UN HRC (google Khan), Suga should cancel the participation and lead a non-WHO block instead.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

jimizo unfortunately you left out the following; "needlessly" and "when they don't need to be"

So are you now arguing that only those who were needlessly hooked up to ventilators suffer lung damage?

Please back this up.

Im not arguing, Im telling you. Ive already provided a citation which you will find again should you scroll up.

While you drive yourself crazy over semantics, your argument has gone out the door. The scare is over. People are waking up to the lies.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

he says.....without fact checking.

The article you linked does not support your assertion that “scarred lungs only occurred in those needlessly hooked up to ventilators early on when they didn't need to be.”

Again, just making things up and saying them on the internet doesn’t make them true.
