Yes, but most (all?) of the people affected are believed to have visited Yoyogi koen.

oh boy it's all over Japan (Honshu), cases being reported from Osaka to Aomori.

From a perusal of this Malaysia based company's financial returns, it appears that a majority financial stake is held by one Fumihiko Konishi.

I have a rock that keeps tigers away. I'd be willing to part with it for a small sum.

Ah, love it! It's the first outbreak of dengue in 70 odd years, but the positive is the pesticide companies are cleaning up. Ah, Japan! You'll never change!

@Nipporinoel, common... Brazil has thousands of dengue fevers every year and the World Cup was hosted this year with no problem. To be more specific, more than one million affected in Brazil only in 2013 (and only aprox. 500 died).
Dont worry.

They will have to cancel the 2020 Games now.

If you bathe, cover your own C02 trail with listerine for example, as above, wear light colours, you'll be much less likely to be bitten.
The main venue for anti-nuclear / anti-militarisation demonstrations, just happens to have been found to harbour DF. Hmmm...

For outdoor activities this year, I've been carrying a small spray bottle filled with original formula Listerine and spraying as needed. Not a single mozzie has scored a bite. (Snopes has tried to debunk this, but it works for me.)

"So, you can buy various prevention products by Fumakilla in Tokyo," Or not. The focus of the infected mosquitoes is in the park in Tokyo, so all you want to do is keep away or prevent them from coming in, if you live around the area. This is scary, specially for the very young and very old, but there is no reason to panic. Well, not yet.

@Toshiko - what are you going on about now?
