good get rid of them quickly. chickens are notorious for spreading disease, all of the infected chickens should be eradicated ASAP. with some type of spraying device or perhaps gas.

They can't control the standards in another country the same as they can in Japan, where they literally set the standards. If they were able to go in, set regulations, do evaluations etc. in another country, then there wouldn't be a need to ban all imports.

Ive lost count. Its clear Japans livestock hygene / management are not up to standards, yet that hasnt stopped the sale of those meats when an outbreak occurs. How many years was American beef banned again? Then Japan has the gall to question when J agriculture goods are blocked from sale in other countries. Once again double standards when it come to J agriculture.

Logical thinking says that such a determination needs to be made based on facts, not feeling. So I'd suggest you take your own advice.

Maybe if the factories were in a bubble, with decontamination occurring whenever anyone entered the factory.

But I'm assuming (though to be fair, I haven't actually checked), that chicken factories are not hermetically sealed, so there is nothing to prevent viruses from getting in.

Now if you want to provide me with some actual facts that show that farming isn't up to standard here, then I'm open to it. But if you are going to condemn purely on feeling and faulty logic alone, you're not going to find me coming on board.

To be fair to you,it seems that you have commented on this subject without educating yourself first i.e. you haven't bothered to look at any facts about

'Avian flu, transmission vectors,intensive farming etc'

Then you wouldn't have to assume anything.....
