Japan found itself sweltering in a late burst of summer over the weekend, when temperatures which would normally be falling in October suddenly soared.
Highs of 29.7 degrees were recorded in Tokyo on Oct 16 and 27 degrees on Sunday. Record highs for October were also recorded in Gunma and Shimizu in Shizuoka Prefecture, with the temperature reaching 30 degrees, the Japan Meteorological Agency reported.

Sunburnt watching wife playing softball - but only on my right side. Not so painful, but looks daft.

You must look like a gyouza...burnt on one side and white on the other.

A day in the park, with my little girl, flying our kites. Doesn't get much better.
