They're also trying to push younger people to frequent the bars and izakaya more. I tell you the gov just doesn't have a clue as to what they are doing with covid. Madness.

It’s not about the safety of the public, it’s about subsidies for LDP supporters. And really you think they care about the youth future generation, if they have a cash pile under their floor when they die, big smile.

Under the new plan, package tours that include charter bus and rail travel costs will be subsidized up to 5,000 yen, down from 8,000 yen. Those going on day trips or only paying for accommodation can obtain a subsidy of up to 3,000 yen, instead of the current 5,000 yen.

Oh, so the public struggling with inflation and stagnant wages is only going to be subsidizing the leisure class slightly less.

step to nowehere.when they have announced 11000 a day all hotels prices went +11000 overnight and some even more so this what is all "campaign" about.

just some to make easy money funded by our taxes and tax payer to pay same or even more for same thing as before-very "generous".
