Is Aso alive in that photo, or is this like some Japanese version of Weekend At Bernie's?
Pukey2
Jesus. Death warmed up. All that's missing in the photo is Mori.
Kobe White Bar Owner
The very definition of masculinity!
Speed
It looks like they turned Aso into an android.
kurisupisu
As if they would ever get out there to get their clothes soiled...pathetic!
Ligger2
Three blind mice.
Dave Noname
Why does Aso look photoshopped in?
drlucifer
The three musketeers nope the three scarecrows.
Patricia Yarrow
There was a disaster drill today? No one told me. As usual.

I love that Motegi's shirt and trousers have 外務省 written in Kanji.
Minister of Frightening Affairs, a random mannequin, and the Minister for Cement.

Thunderbirds are Go... to Travel!
blvtzpk
“Thunderbirds are NO!”
szero25
Is it just me or do they look like the puppets from Thunderbirds.
gogogo
Yep a total disaster, just look at those three!
Cricky
They are practicing to flee towards the nearest exit, well amble. The action suits! So they can blend in and make their escape from any responsibility.
Cricky
Well these three have already proven time and again in a disaster or near disaster they disappear, leaving confused underlings to try to blunder through. Then pop up with a totally unhelpful urge only to disappear again...then blame the victims of the disaster, make claims so complicated and funnel tax payer money through their friends companies. Don't think they need practice they have got it down to a T.
wraither
The disasters apparently.

The one on the left wearing combat boots is accused of making illegal donations of incense sticks to his constituents through his personal secretary.
The one in the center nobody will remember next week.
the one on the right is the new director of Japan’s Space Academy.

To me this photo speaks of siloed ministries with few common standards, collaboration, or (heaven forbid) scale procurement to reduce the tax burden. It suggests fragmented legions diligently reinventing wheels, pushing reams and reams of redundancy through unchallenged processes. Busy being busy.

Correction to my above post. Please use common sense and wear a face mask.

Nice face shield Aso. I see more and more of these, especially the ones that look like the lower half of a face gaurd on a football helmet. Aerosol transmission is the main route of transmission and these face shields alone offer very little protection. I cringe when I see people not using common sense and wearing masks.

who are these 3 old geezers?
