Military dictatorship standard procedure, intimidate and close down the media. The truth or any narrative other than their own is the one thing they have to kill if they are to keep the populace subjugated.

Why! Myanmar is such a nice friendly place that Japan has rejected every request for refugee status, so under that thinking their legal system must be fair and just.

So let the Journalist go through that nice fair legal system that Japanese immigration seems to view in good light.
