Gee Japan that must really suck having your people imprisoned in a system that blatantly sucks sarcasm

Considering the loads of money and military training Japan provides these thugs, I expect a release shortly.

Military dictatorship standard procedure, intimidate and close down the media. The truth or any narrative other than their own is the one thing they have to kill if they are to keep the populace subjugated.

Feel sorry for that chap, every limitation of freedom of expression and press are against the basic human rights violation.

I hope that his country will help him to get out of there.

Why! Myanmar is such a nice friendly place that Japan has rejected every request for refugee status, so under that thinking their legal system must be fair and just.

So let the Journalist go through that nice fair legal system that Japanese immigration seems to view in good light.

The Myanmar military junta are killing their own country's citizens dead left and right. I am sure that they can care less about a foreigner's visa status.
