Hot air balloons too. More effective and costs less. .... Or let them have access to your satellite images.

Seems the Filipinos haven't forgotten. But the aggressor this time is Neo Imperial China, not Japan.

Well they are recon aircraft which can be used in search and rescue. So they have a civilian mission and Japan should give them to the Philippines. I think P3 aircraft as well but without the military systems installed or disabled.

You know since Japan signed that secrecy law, its nice to know that people are still leaking stuff to the media. But this would help out the Philippines a lot.

"Washington has asked the Japanese military to provide training and maintenance along with any aircraft it supplies to the Philippines"

No, asked is correct. There is no treaty provision that allows the United States to dictate to which country Japan may provide aid. Oh wait, you just wanna play the old Chinese "Japan is America's dog" song.

President Obama just said that he wants to take care of USA without asking to borrow from China.

Japan = America's lapdog ... I believe that is the correct term.

I am not sure if Philippines could fight as it has relied on gifts of military equipment from other countries.
