Good luck. After a bad tsunami hit SE Asia, the US and UK navies tried to give disaster relief to Myanmar, but the totalitarian junta wouldn't even let the foreign vessels dock into the ports. The excuse was that the relief goods would fall into the hands of 'terrorists' = ethnic groups the regime is and has been waging internal wars against (Rohingya, Shan, Karen, etc.) since the dictatorship was established in 1962. You can't depend on the Myanmar regime to do anything good. The Myanmar International Assistance Organization can try, tho.

The same, good luck on their efforts but it is not going to be easy to sidestep the corruption and abuse of power that have so many people oppressed.

Still even if only a fraction of the help arrives that may still be enough to save the life of some people.

"to use activities and connections established to "report to the Foreign Ministry or the government the reality on the ground..."

I'm surprised this isnt being done already, given that Japanese corporations are among Myanmar's biggest investors and Japan's govt has spared no effort in the last couple of decades to make the country a close partner.

Japan Inc. seems to have realized that the situation has a reached point where Japanese corporations' interests and image are seriously under threat.
