Freighter,

Communist China didn't exist in 1945, but there were relations with China before the revolution in 1949. Meanwhile, the "rest of the world," with very few exceptions, thinks China is behaving badly.

Well, the US administered the islands from 1945 to 1972 with no problems or complaints. Maybe Japan should subcontract the administration back to the US for a while and see how it goes. A change is as good as a vacation, they say..

It's hilarious that no one can be even bothered to comment on these CCP/PLA incursions anymore. It's an indication of how meaningless and impotent these actions are, an dhow little anyone cares about the CCP's claims on the Senkakus.

Japan has been good 4 China likewise China has been good 4 Japan. They need to cooperate and care 4 each other. Be at one n not hurt each other.

The U.S. had no diplomatic connections with China until Nixon visited in....wait for it....1972. So how could they complain? Hatred of China should not blind us to facts.

Japan says Chinese ships in disputed waters

Actually Japan did not put that way. Japan said Chinese ships were in their waters because Japan does not recognize the dispute. Rest of the world does however.
