Watch out for rising prices at KFC! Christmas in Japan just isn't Christmas in Japan without that junk food.

More chemicals in food.
Instead of treating the disease, how about preventing it?
the bribery scandal in the news about a politician helping a massive chicken company to bypass animal rights is an example of why the animal diseases proliferate.

Should be a warning to all concerned that the current animal husbandry factory system is not sustainable.
The industries practice extremely questionable methods from an animal rights point, while posing huge health risks to the animal population as well as the human population.
Covid is the wake up call concerning zoonotic diseases. H5N1 has been responsible for human deaths, although very few.
It is just a matter of when, not if, the perfect leap is made from avians to humans.

That's exactly what they're doing??? Disinfecting farms doesn't add anything to the meat and is a measure to prevent the birds getting sick

The virus causing the current "corona" pandemic is SARS 2.0.
Its official scientific name is SARS-CoV2.
