After the cruise ship nightmare, who in their right mind would want to be trapped in those hotels?

I hope the measure will relieve mounting pressures with cases on the healthcare system.

This policy may also benefit many hotels affected with mass cancellation.

People "trapped" in these hotels will already have the virus, unlike the cruise ship where most didn't.

Not sure why he would make this conclusion.

I'm assuming a nurse or doctor will be on hand or close the hotel to check on the people staying there. If they are in their home no doctor will come check on them, so all they can do is call an ambulance, and wait for them to find a hospital that will take them in.

Working with the Japan Tourism Agency, the ministry will confirm the number of vacant rooms at hotel chains and accommodation facilities across the country, as well as their willingness to cooperate, before passing on the information to local governments.

Wait a minute,

wasn't there an article here on JT last week or week before last that the government had secured 200,000 hotel rooms.

I dont know why mild cases need hotels. Why can´t they stay at home?

The answer is in the second paragraph.

Really? That could not have happened if they were in a hotel? Why?

The media control and censorship regarding the covid-19 in Japan is outrageous, making most Japanese ill-informed on the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Really? That could not have happened if they were in a hotel? Why?

In a hotel: R0 = 0

At home: 0

At home: R0 is greater than 0, but less than (the number of family) -1
