After the cruise ship nightmare, who in their right mind would want to be trapped in those hotels?

I hope the measure will relieve mounting pressures with cases on the healthcare system.
This policy may also benefit many hotels affected with mass cancellation.

People "trapped" in these hotels will already have the virus, unlike the cruise ship where most didn't.
I'm assuming a nurse or doctor will be on hand or close the hotel to check on the people staying there. If they are in their home no doctor will come check on them, so all they can do is call an ambulance, and wait for them to find a hospital that will take them in.

Wait a minute,
wasn't there an article here on JT last week or week before last that the government had secured 200,000 hotel rooms.

@drlucifer....
either they know need a lot more,
or they are finally being pro-active.
I hope it's the latter.
...now let's get testing.

I dont know why mild cases need hotels. Why can´t they stay at home?

Really? That could not have happened if they were in a hotel? Why?

The media control and censorship regarding the covid-19 in Japan is outrageous, making most Japanese ill-informed on the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
In a hotel: R0 = 0
At home: 0

At home: R0 is greater than 0, but less than (the number of family) -1
