Awesome news.
Any advancement on spinal cord injuries is much desired.

Hope for the best, this is just the first step in the human trials, checking that the cells are used without problems and that at least some effect is observed, but a lot of work was needed to reach it. Lately too many news about scammers getting money from vulnerable people with false "trials" without scientific merit, so reading about real progress is a nice change.

Yes, they surely feel some pressure to roll out anything from time to time after that famous STAP-chan has wrongly been expelled from official science and career.
