Interesting... two minutes saved will allow may be three or more trains on to the same track between major destinations when the total hours saved is calculated. It can certainly increase revenues. Not sure if safety can become an issue when more trains are on the same rail at such close distances.
As for cleaning.., AI all areas and automate cleaning as such robotic technology is already available. Or, go back to the past and have a crew on board constantly cleaning different areas. Such crew can also serve as security and safety staff on board, as they do on airlines. That can certainly add "personality" to a train ride.
Luddite
What a strange thing for a business to boast about. You need to employ more cleaners and pay them a decent wage. That would be something to brag about in the national media, not on how hard you work your staff by adding to the pressure.
Do the hustle
That’s seven people cleaning one train carriage. It should be quicker.
