Nice to see talented people with humility. I wish him the best! The world can't have too many good cooks!

It is unacceptable to tell the truth in Japanese culture as " I am the best" even though you have been ranking as such.

To be humble is a quality but being honest too sometimes.

Let's face it, I am sure he surpasses his chief teacher Robuchon by now in his domain (outside French food) and it is good to know and say it.
