I'm not Arab but I feel like calling the rocket Rashid is kind of like calling a rocket 'Tony' or 'Barbara' or as Kurisupisu said 'taro' for the Japanese. Is there more of a story behind the name? Perhaps its inventor or the meaning of the name itself?

I think this is cool, and will watch the launch online. Does EVERYthing here have to be an opportunity for slanted, uninformed political criticism?

Now what??, are they going to privatize the moon and make it the 51st state??, I wouldn't be surprised..
