Ret... overly hysterious people do not add up to overall security and prolonged peace.

In addition to being an ongoing distraction from domestic scandal, this kind of hysterical media coverage makes people increasingly happy to rely on strongmen for protection. That always works out well.

Nothing wrong with being prepared for the worst, notably with the two antagonists involved being who they are.

How interesting it is that so many people think that a nuclear explosion or a deadly gas like sarin can be guarded against-they are living in La La land if I think that's the case!

I have a special mask that blocks all radioactive materials in the air. I use it when working with keytones. Very effective. However, it will not protect me from a giant blast of a bomb.

So, it would seem that the DPRK's terror campaign is spreading fear and panic. They are already winning.

Demand for nuclear shelters, purifiers surges as N Korea tension mounts

The United States ordered the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group to sail to waters off the Korean peninsula in response to mounting concern over the reclusive state's nuclear and missile programs.

Both side are responsible for the tension, and doing provocative action AKA "adding oil to the fire" will only result in chaos, but as long as the terror campaign is diverting from local scandals it will be spread like fire.

"it would seem that the DPRK's terror campaign is spreading fear and panic. They are already winning."

More like the LDP scare campaign is winning you mean...dear Jpublic stop asking about Moritomo gakuen scandal and look over here at this big bad NK shooting missiles at us. Fear not however as your own strong dear leader at the helm of a fearless LDP led govt. will protect you from any and all danger, as only LDP can. So go back to watching your variety shows and dont forget to support us at the next opinion poll and the upcoming election.

sincerely Shinzo

Waste of time and money. Even if they survive the society will not. Rich people have bought tens of million deep shelters in America and I believe in New Zealand too. Including the rich and famous and heads of the big IT companies.
