Dr. Nakamura is coming home for a much deserved rest.

May his murderers suffer the same fate they inflict on innocences.

The crooked timber of humanity and the awful cruelty of this violent world tipped the balance against the love and dedication of a good man working to make our world a better place. Dr Nakamura, R.I.P.

So very sad.

My deepest condolences.

I don't understand why good people like this waste their talents in such a high risk country.

The president Mr.Ashraf Ghani should form a joint investigation committee from the intelligence agencies of #Japan#kōanchōsa-chō, #NDS and #MI6 of United Kingdom, to find out who were behind this terror attack which took place on #Dr. Nakamura and our innocent Afghans.

There is so much to be done in Japan...

He had the guts but working while 5 bodyguards need to watch you, I would not call that being efficient.

Why not educate them in one's country and send them back to practise ? Oh, they would stay forever in yours...

Well, at least his family is able to take his body back home to Japan. So that way, he can Rest In Peace once and for all. And my thoughts and prayers will be with Dr. Nakamura as well.

Why not educate them in one's country and send them back to **practise ? Oh, they would stay forever in yours...**

You not of what you speaketh.

Two years ago I went to a speech / presentation by Dr Nakamura here in Sendai.

He and his team were running an extensive training scheme for clinicians, nurses and doctors.

Many trainees were sent to Japan and all of them returned to Afghanistan.

In his presentation, one point the Dr Nakamura made again and again was how dedicated the Afghani members of his team were .

He was not the first member of his team to lose his life in this senseless manner.

Nevertheless, even knowing the extreme risks, he and his team continued.

I mention his team here, because he praised them so often.

Another Japanese volunteer Mr. Kazuya Ito was abducted and killed in 2008. Mr. Ito was not doctor but Dr. Nakamura and Mr. Ito were helping Afghan people as much as they could and on how to make irrigation and wells there. They worked together with locals hard. There are hundreds of wells all over and long irrigation canal there to grow crops in green fields. Their long time works were the greatest of all. Rest in peace.

I don't understand why good people like this waste their talents in such a high risk country.

Probably because they are good people. Me, I don't understand why anyone would target a person that is only doing good for the country and it;s people.

Ossan, sadly it is precisely because they are doing good for the country and it’s people which undermines and disproves the theological based lies they are peddling.

It is indeed the work of Pakistani intelligence. The water he was building dams, and drawing canals on flows free to Pakistan. Pakistan has historically stopped any efforts on the free water they are getting, whiteout any treaties signed.

As an Afghan I’m really sorry Uncle Nakamura we couldn’t protect you.

they killed you because you were Afghan I swear my heart is bleed I wish I was killed instead of you.

Rest in peace

This was Pakistan who did the attack. Pakistanis benefit from an unstable Afghanistan in fears of teaming up with india. Why would any Afghan want to deprive themselves of water? Doesn’t make sense it’s clearly an enemy of Afghanistan who did this. May the lord curse the one responsible and may the person who killed such an innocent and kind soul face the wrath of the lord.
