why protect his name? others who may have met him before he died have the right to know - he was a POS

Sounds like he died from .... karma.

20 ( +27 / -7 )

Well, the man made threats to other people to harm and or end their lives, and nature has shown him what comes of it. Karma, as they say.

You know what? After seeing this guy on the news with his arms around a girl who was just doing her job (she later got infected by the way), I have almost no pity for him.

Who knows how many others he infected?

Sir, you don’t care about other’s lives at all? Looks like you just lost yours...

Good riddance

“They don't say that he died of the virus, only that he died.”

It’s being reported that after contracting the virus he died of pneumonia complications.

Maybe people will now start taking this pandemic seriously.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

Sounds like he knew he was already on the way out regardless given underlying condition and couldn't deal with it, so tried to take others with him.

pathetic

Karma

9 ( +14 / -5 )

Indeed. Virus, suicide or other. More info wanted

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Only 57? That's the scary takeaway for me.

Add to that,

dude went down so fast.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Well, at least he doesn't have to be imprisoned now, as so many of us were hoping for.

I just hope the poor workers at the izakaya and snack are OK now.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

There are tens of thousands of Japanese unintentionally spreading the virus at this very moment.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

They don't say that he died of the virus, only that he died.

6 ( +12 / -6 )

Good. One less idiot that will put everyone else at risk.

6 ( +12 / -6 )

Without large-scale testing by the government there might be many more silent carriers running amok like the deceased. Abe's policy template of "don't mention the war" has now been transposed to "don't mention the virus" , an all too common avoidance mentality that could have dire consequences for communal transmission and result in the culling of Japan's senior citizens, similar to the fatuous scheme of "herd immunity" initially proposed by the gormless Boris Johnson.

Karma is an interesting thing.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

It is too late. He has done enough damage.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

He died at hospital. Seems he had a chronic disease(持病), whatever that was, perhaps cardiovascular related, which probably made it difficult to fight the virus.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Not enough beds for japanese and we are going to have the Olylampics ???. someone is joking.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

So apparently Abe did the "Japanese Thing": not testing (only 15354 as of today!) and hoping it will go away. Now we have a sleeping giant in numbers of Japanese walking around with Corona. Just wondering when this all will blow up like Italy, Spain, and USA

ust wondering when this all will blow up like Italy, Spain, and USA

My bet is on April 1st.

May he rot in hell.

hepatocellular carcinoma is, according to t'interwebs, the most common type of primary liver cancer. A grim diagnosis.

All the people rejoicing in his death and calling it karma, ought to be careful, as your celebration in another's death because they did something really stupid, will come round to bite you in the arse.

Oh, unless you've never done anything stupid, malicious, or thoughtless in your lives. I'm sure you'll all be fine.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I hope the woman mentioned in this article who was infected intentionally by the deceased survives unharmed.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

SICK minds.

What he did was not "really stupid". It was intentionally harmful and possibly fatal to others.

Oh, unless you've never done anything stupid, malicious, or thoughtless in your lives. I'm sure you'll all be fine.

I've never done anything intentionally and maliciously deadly to others. So, I'm cool with calling this dead guy a piece of garbage for what he did.

By the letter of the law, you can include criminal negligence and murder attempt as he knew fully well what he did. When one puts others into harm's way with a purpose because he was trying to satisfy his own little ego, I have no sympathy whatsoever for that man. There is a special place in hell for someone like that.

@Garypen

Were you referring to some other article? Because in this one, they clearly say so in plain, simple English.

I guess you're new here, so you weren't to know, that JT, as well as many other news media, update their articles as more information becomes available.

This article was updated several hours, if not a day, after it was posted.

Hope that helps.

They don't say that he died of the virus, only that he died.

"Kyodo News reported that his death was due to pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus..."

Were you referring to some other article? Because in this one, they clearly say so in plain, simple English.

This scumbag won't be 'spreading the disease' anymore now.

Instant karma is gonna get you!

They don't say that he died of the virus, only that he died.

It makes you wonder whether he died of the disease or they killed him.

My condolences.

As I said long ago on here, it's the KarmaVirus aka ChinaVirus2.0. Sadly, there will be worldwide epic collateral damage.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

For me is obvious that the dead reason wasn't Coronavirus.

Japan is very safe and peaceful, but don't go around looking for troubles or u could find it.
