Not definite.

Regardless of where he got it, every guest at that hotel needs to be tracked down as they may have become infected.

From undoubtedly a Chinese tourist or from someone from the Dimond Cruise Ship.

Hawaii is a very popular sightseeing state for Chinese and Japanese sightseers. He might have contacted with Chinese tours at hotel or restaurant.

From undoubtedly a Chinese tourist or from someone from the Diamond Cruise Ship.

I think it is more like : possibly than undoubtedly. He started showing symptom in between the 3rd and 7th (non specified which day) of February. As incubation can go from 2 days to 14days according to the current information, it could have caught COVID-19 in between the 20th of January and 5th of February. As symptom can be mild, he could even caught it prior to the 20th. So the option of getting from Japanese as through contact with one of the people from the Tokyo cluster is not void.

As the Diamond Princess cruise ship reached Yokohama the 4th of February and this sir reached Hawaii the 29th of January, I think people tracking link between cases are most likely to cross this one out.

In the same time, are we supposed to think there is some difference depending who he catch the COVID-19 from ? As long as the experts are able to follow the contamination tread that should be enough, isn't it ?

Dear Sir : odaijini

NB : Strangerland, people working from country troll factory (I do not mean you, in case you have a doubt) are not supposed to look stupid and increase negative feeling toward their employer, so ...

stop using old non-sense philosophy of blocking the water and sea, while you try to block people off the ship, let your own people get infected, not doing anything, more meetings and " brain" storming , now you have infected people popping up inside the country with impossible to track their whereabouts and contacts with general public. some point, U.S will put travel restriction on Japanese travels coming into U.S territories.
