His education costs at Fordham would’ve easily run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars; something mainstream media here appears to be under instruction never to mention. Or, in the vaguest and most cursory way. If it ever comes out that the public purse funded his fifty thousand plus annual school fees and God knows how much in ancillary expenses for his extended US sojourn, there’ll be hell to pay.

They have foot the bill for his studies, and he plans to take the New York bar exam, which means he most likely will stay in the US. So what did they get for their investment?

A Japanese lawyer who can handle legal affairs in the US.

Maybe they should apply that to members of the British royal family. When family members who are not immediate heirs to the throne, get married they become commoners and leave the family.

They technically have, and now they're clogging up all those afternoon yik-yak shows on TV.
