Japanese space scientists seeking new asteroid name

Let's go Gundam. Axis!

Their Hayabusa-2 craft is intended to reach the asteroid in 2018, and return with its payload in 2020.

Is two years all it takes? This has to be the quickest public fact finding mission Japan will ever witness.

Here question is this meteor coming to earth? That's when we can name it.

Kitty chan? Or some other famous Japanese anuime character or mascot?

How about "Boner"? It's not too long (sadly), but it is a universally-known term, and has much to do with being a source of life.

After all the crowing should this mission be even a fraction successful I propose we name it after one of the greatest myths in Japan about Japan. Let's call it "Modesty".
