Why that focus on nuclear accident when you have the water power accident where 10 000 were killed.

The risk for lungcancer increase with one percent while 30 percent of people dead in lungcancer is as effect of passiv smoking?

I remember just after the 2011 disaster, I checked the Wikipedia pages and they clearly stated the events of past HUGE tsunamis in the Tohoku region facing the Pacific. How the authorities could have just built the plants at that location and without sufficient protection, and skip the proper regular checks is beyond belief. I guess saving money and bribery rules. I just don't think Japan will learn from its mistakes. Very very few of us here will live to see the day when Fukushima is under control.

been on that line. it will be wiped out again in the next tsunami or earthquake.

this region is a regular feature for destruction in 869, 1293, 1611, 1703, 1855, 1896, 1923, 1933, 1936, 1978, 1994, 2005, and 2008. then Fukushima in 2011 and still continuing.

just olympics hype to pay for what the govt doesn't do. if the govt really cares, they would force JR and other rail companies to make a more safer route.
