A junior high school apparently jumped to her death from an apartment in Toyama, police said.

According to police, at around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a resident of a six-story municipal housing complex found the girl lying on the roof of the a first-floor apartment, Sankei Shimbun reported. The girl was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police said the girl left a farewell note in her room, leading them to believe she committed suicide.

Very sad! Prayers for her family. I can not judge.

@clamenza - "I'm still drawing a blank"

You obviously lack empathy ("the ability to share someone else's feelings or experiences by imagining what it would be like to be in that person's situation") and I feel sorry for you. I truly do!!... :-(

Godfather - Ok, I tried imagining all that and Im still drawing a blank on the suicide note. Why don't you just tell me what she wrote. Im quite interested.

Oh! And I took a deep breath and tried guessing who was causing her pain.

Got nothing there, either.

Could you also tell me who was causing her pain?

@Wc626 - "Why are japanese youth so extremely pessimistic compared to their modern counterparts?"

Just use some EMPATHY.

Imagine her pain as she fell from the SIXTH FLOOR and hit the roof of the FIRST FLOOR. Imagine what actually happened to her internal organs as her body disintegrated. Imagine the pain. Then imagine a life where that pain of death is actually BETTER than living just one more day. Imagine the awful pain she must have been in EVERY SINGLE DAY. Now take a deep breath and guess who was causing it.

And then you will know what she wrote in her farewell note... ;-)

This is truly sad. So many young people see their future so bleakly.

Why are japanese youth so extremely pessimistic compared to their modern counterparts? Jr / HS years were fun in CA. not so quick to leap in them parts.

Very sad that someone so young felt like her life wasn't worth living. Don't know the circumstances but undoubtedly a tragic end result.

So sad that this is how some begin their day by ending their life because it has all become too much and so early in life.
