Why Japanese women need to bleaching skin for white? Are they Okinawans? It must be joking to me. I don't complaint about skin bleaching product using some Asia country whose has brown skin. However, beauty is not just skin but you must have beautiful heart rather than outside look. You must have confidence in yourselves and accept natural beauty the way you look in reality.

That makes a lot... They didn't test their invention, or what ?

I have to say, if you are that dumb and try to whiten your skin chemically, what the hell do you expect?

You whiten it how if not chemically ? With sand paper ?

Dark skinned people want to be white, pale people want to get a tan,

I'm pale, I want to be pale. I'd be black, I'd want to be black. I'd be OK with freckles. I have kept all my nevus (they are a family tradition). What I wouldn't want is big spots like a cow hide. 2/3 of Asian women have melasma at various degrees, I don't blame them for trying to get rid if it.

Kanebo is now saying they're willing to pay for treatment "even after (customers) stop using the product". How thoughtful of them. But then, Kanebo is the company that came up with the "Naive" face soap series, so perhaps the consumer should not be surprised.

i think at first kanebo tried to defend themselves by saying that directions clearly state that you test the product on a small part of your skin to see if blotching will occur. i guess they've given up on that line of defense.

Guess we'll be seeing lots of blotchy skinned women throughout Asia.

maybe if they hadn't tested on white mice?

Surely they tested it out in some third world country before releasing it to the masses?

The doctors say the bleaching could be permanent cos the product gas destroyed the melanin in her skin.

Probably meant it destroyed malanin production ability. Melanin is a pigment that your body continually makes. It's not like something you keep in a drawer and if you lose it, it's gone.

never happy with what we've got...

Absolutely correct Knox. Seems to be human nature. Hope these people can cure their skin ailments and then learn their lesson.

One of my friends is on this list. The doctors say the bleaching could be permanent cos the product gas destroyed the melanin in her skin. Another Japanese company bites the dust!

That it's not going to make your skin blotchy.

Whitening your skin is beyond the realms of cosmetics.

It's actually not.

I have to say, if you are that dumb and try to whiten your skin chemically, what the hell do you expect? That it should be completely safe? No side effects whatsoever?

Dark skinned people want to be white, pale people want to get a tan, never happy with what we've got...
