Man broadcasts own suicide live on video streaming site

In other words, Channel2 and any else who read about his notices could have alerted someone at any time before the man actually carried out the act, but the kind souls (sarcasm) decided to wait until he was dead to do anything. It makes me sick whenever I hear after-the-fact accounts of 'worry' and what not by viewers/neighbours. It's always (to the media), "I heard the boy screaming all the time and his parents hitting him... I was so worried!" or, "The poor little girl always looked so thin, had bruises, and was crying, and her father and mother always left her alone" after a child or someone dies. My reaction is always the same, "So what did you do about it?"

Selfish moron. He was asking for the abuse to justify his suicide. Then, it's not his fault, but societies ... maaaaaaan! Agreed watching this idiot is sickening, and the act of advertising your plans to off yourself? He knew exactly what he was doing.

There should be a law gainst people encourging someone to commit suicide.Too many sickos these days who enjoy other suffering and in this case ultimate death.

Recall a study where the police force staged rapes, muggings on the subway. Sickening was that most passengers cheered and encouraged the ongoings. (Not saying where it was held).

@Zenny11 - Sadly, 2Channel is a place full of sick people who LIKE this kind of stuff. Remember a few years ago that guy who took a train to Fukui, bought knives, came back to Tokyo, rented a van, rammed people in (Akihabara?), then jumped out and killed more with his knives? He broadcast his entire trip on BBS on 2Channel, and NOBODY bothered to contact or alert the police.

That is 2Channel, and YES it is VERY VERY sad that they just sat there and watched him die.

This incident, with it's taunters urging him to go through with the act, was hardly a Japanese innovation. In 2008 an American teen named Abraham Biggs killed himself on Justin.tv to the same sort of chorus of depraved cheerleaders. Google Abraham Biggs for all the details.

Plus too many people got densensitized due to movies, etc. Video/Chat on the PC is NO different from watching a flick or the TV news. Something not really related to us.

Recall a case a few years ago a guy taking sleeping pills and chatting while he died. His video chat participants took some time to realise he had died.

a large number of messages were posted by agitators telling the man his life was over, expressing hatred or encouraging him to follow through with his plan.
