Police said Monday that a man saved his brother by catching him after he jumped from their 4th-floor Tokyo apartment in a suicide attempt.
According to police, the 32-year-old man jumped at about 4 p.m. Sunday from the balcony of the apartment he shared with his 36-year-old brother in Ota Ward, TV Asahi reported. The brother, who was down below, caught his brother. Both men sustained minor injuries, police said.

Best brother ever. Nice to hear of a happy ending in jumper news for once. Hopefully his younger brother gets his problems sorted out and takes his second chance for granted.

Really sad/touching story.
Let's hope this loving act will do something to change the mind-set of the younger brother...

Wow... amazing story! The older brother really is a hero. As others have said, best brother ever.

The guy that jumped and was caught by his bro was literally a "brother in arms."

That's what you get out of this story?

4th floor is often not high enough to be fatal. Landing on anything other than the head would typically be survivable. A plea for help that hopefully he will now get.

Yeah, best brother. But, was he jumping because of his brother? Guess we will never know.
