Right. All the anti vaxxers can stop telling us it was a 'conspiracy' now. My favorite so far was a guy at Shibuya Station trying to tell me that the fragments were mobile trackers. Back to your holes please.

Nothing to see.

-4 ( +54 / -58 )

*but the company did not expect it posed "an undue risk to patient safety."*

Did not expect...what exactly does that mean?

Metallic particles of this size injected into a muscle may cause a site reaction,

About what kind of site reaction exactly are we talking about here?

Many open questions, no answers

As usual.

42 ( +56 / -14 )

Nothing to see.

Actually, those particles were big enough to see, which is why they were discovered (Scary to think what may not have been seen.)

If anything, the claims of anti-vaxers of how mystery junk is in the vaccines (and people claiming there is "nothing") were proven correct.

22 ( +44 / -22 )

stainless steel…

so now those who have received tainted ejections will require miniature arc reactors?

19 ( +24 / -5 )

Right. All the anti vaxxers can stop

Does the labeling of those with concerns about the safety of these vaccines as "anti vaxxers" make you feel better about your non-negotiable decision to have taken it?

25 ( +37 / -12 )

Those who got sick or the families of those died from this contaminated vaccine should be compensated from Moderna big time for this.

26 ( +42 / -16 )

Tainted batche"s". How many and where were they produced? It sounds like not an isolated case.

13 ( +23 / -10 )

@Jay

they can’t help it… they see it everywhere and is media driven so it must be true.

Monkey see, monkey do

19 ( +26 / -7 )

"Those who got sick or the families of those died from this contaminated vaccine should be compensated from Moderna big time for this.".

Should be but never will be unless the turd hits the fan big time, we all know how big pharmas work.

10 ( +17 / -7 )

Filling the vails is a fully automated process.

Each filling system has a detection system based on light or laser to confirm the present of foreign objects and should be rejected through the reject exit.

What happened with the check?

Also samples of each batch depending on the size of the batch should be taken by QA for test. What happened with this check?

Also API's should be checked before processing to medicine.

So many flaws inside the process line.

"The rare presence of stainless steel particles in the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine does not pose an undue risk to patient safety and it does not adversely affect the benefit/risk profile of the product," the statement said.

Stainless steel particles injected into your body seems pretty dangerous to me.

28 ( +36 / -8 )

The vaccine itself is not the problem.

The production at Spain is the problem.

Quality assurance, Quality Control and Production Control at the production site in Spain completely failed.

But Japan detected that.

Good Job Japan!

31 ( +42 / -11 )

This should not be a problem.

The foreign body response will kick in creating a granuloma around any particle. This happens with suture fragments and splinters.

Quit worrying and get on with the vaccinations. Maybe a discount is in order, given the fuss caused.

-8 ( +23 / -31 )

No matter what, it's still a major flaw that should have been prevented if they did proper maintance in these factories and done the proper inspection before shipping them. We should still sue.

19 ( +22 / -3 )

As long as it doesn’t interfere with the 5G my shot gave me, I’m fine.

17 ( +25 / -8 )

With *discouraging news *like this, gotta love ‘reassurances’ from some, like “Cut the Drama” and “Nothing to see”. - What’s their motivation? “*Consume & Don’t Question*”? - Their opinions matter, … NOT Yours?

11 ( +18 / -7 )

I'm guessing with such demand for the vaccine, and companies doing everything they could to produce as much as they could, either to help humanity, or to make a quick buck, some levels of inspection and maintenance were skipped. The fault is with the Spanish subcontractor and Japan should be compensated as well as the families of the men if it is learned that was the cause of their deaths.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

When I was a Nurse, a couple of decades ago, we still often had glass ampules/vials that had to be broken open. To avoid glass in the syringe, we used a filter needle to draw up the medication, then switched the needle for injection. In reality, if you can see a metal fragment in a vial, it won't be drawn up in a 22 or 25ga needle.

Personally, I'd like to see my vacca without metal fragments, and we now see one of the many issues with passing off manufacturing information to secondary companies for use. Not all companies strive for the same standards.

30 ( +30 / -0 )

So what are they gonna do about the issue?

13 ( +13 / -0 )

Thank God I have not got the vaccine. I cant beleive what I am reading.

5 ( +26 / -21 )

OOOOooooo MY GOD!!!! There are particles in there!!!!!! I am ssssssoooooo scared that I am going to die!!!! And those particles are actually robots made by a secret organisation to turn me in to government controlled mindless robot! And what is most scary, is what we did not see in those viles!!! We didn't see alien DNA in there that would turn me in to cannibal zombie. OR it's an Antichrist vaccine and the devil will take control of me and drag me to hell!!! It is terrifying!!!! I better not get vaccinated!!!

These kind of people should not get vaccinated, the law of the jungle will take care of them...

-18 ( +14 / -32 )

Japan found these particles in vaccine bottles. I wonder if other countries could not see them or didn't/don't care about these particles due to vaccinations are too busy to see such things. There are so many other liquid medicine in transparent containers such as bags/bottles, should look at the liquid carefully before using it.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Japan shouldn't have had to rely on Spain for it's vaccines. It's embarrassing they couldn't do this themselves.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Pink, black, metallic, magnetic, non, magnetic, rubber, plastic, stainless steel…. Would be nice they would unite on only one version or lie before commenting or giving stupid excuses. But maybe only I am wrong, and pink plastic is the gay or any other lgbtxq version of black stainless steel and I still don’t realize or accept that as a white old guy. lol

4 ( +13 / -9 )

If you can see the particles then they are too big to enter the needle.

0 ( +11 / -11 )

Great, more anti-vaxx fodder for Japan.

-11 ( +7 / -18 )

Can someone going on about the alleged people that got sick and died from possibly having this injection, who are these people that died.

Any facts to back those claims?

As was reported most of the particles were to big to fit into the syringe through the needle.

Even if something did a tiny tiny piece of stainless steel intee muscular will not cause any problems and will sooner of later be worked out of the body by our own normal protection system.

As a craftsman I have had way more things end up jammed into some part of my body and years later have it poke through the outer skin easily discarded.

I find it quite funny this over reaction especially from many westerners over a certain age that probably have one or several amalgament fillings which contain Mercury but worry about a under 0.3mm ( have to be smaller than this due to needle size).

-7 ( +10 / -17 )

Just wondering whether metal particles could cause problems with neuronal transmission around the neuromuscular junctions at the injection site. Probably only temporary hopefully..

Japan should tell Moderna to produce in Japan. Johnson and Johnson, Pzifer and now Moderna all have an production problems. Japan should make its own jab.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

The problem can be traced back with the lot number.

With that, Moderna can reconstruct the entire history of the product including all the people who actually worked on it, including those who cleaned the instruments, temperatures, etc, all the way down to the raw material.

With that information they can determine where the problem happen, which other lots may be affected and make sure it's fixed.

Takeda is also responsible, because they are supposed to perform some basic QA/QC, including visual inspection on the product before clearing it for the Japanese market.

I don't know if Takeda uses the same lot number for their tracking but nevertheless they do track the "production" (QA/QC, packaging-if-any and distribution) in the same way Moderna and all the other drug manufacturers do.

The ink in tattoos may contain metallic properties, and you should tell your MRI technologist if you have tattoos

Great point, now also think that you ( the person with a tattoo) has no idea what "ink" was used, what the batch number was or it there was even any safety checks done.

How many people go on vacation to some country and return with a tattoo thinking nothing of it.

Just a quick lift of stuff in tattoo ink iron, other metals or metal salts with lead, cadmium, chromium, nickel, titanium, etc oh and plastic!

puts that possible tiny piece of stainless steel into perspective.

4 ( +11 / -7 )

@Kenchi

stainless steel…

Stainless steel isn't magnetic, so I doubt Tony Stark's arc reactor would do anything to stop the fragments from reaching the heart. I did get a chuckle out of the idea though.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Not that I'd personally want tiny steel particles injected into me, but titanium and stainless steel are used for surgical repair and support all the time. My sister had surgery for scoliosis and has been living with a stainless steel Harrington rod in her back for more than 40 years.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

A total of 54 people under the age of 40 have died in Japan from COVID; a very small number. The risk of dying from COVID in Japan rounds down to zero.

Should young healthy people accept any risk to lower the risk of death from COVID for people over 80 with dementia who have live long full lives?

0 ( +8 / -8 )

Stainless steel isn't magnetic,

Yes it is magnetic it contains iron!

so I doubt Tony Stark's arc reactor would do anything to stop the fragments from reaching the heart.

How would something injected into the muscle of the arm ( not a vein) reach the heart?

More likely the body will leave it where it is or work it out to the skin's surface.

Moderna has been very accommodating in this sense even making a deal Canada which has zero vaccine production and have to build a facility from scratch.

Why would they refuse Japan?

If anything, the claims of anti-vaxers of how mystery junk is in the vaccines (and people claiming there is "nothing") were proven correct.

Why is it that anyone who questions anything regarding these vaccines is automatically labelled an anti-vaxer? This is completely untrue. There are many many pro-vaccine people such as myself who are asking questions regarding these new vaccines. I take umbrage at being labelled as such for asking intelligent questions which more often than not are not answered intelligently because there is still too many unknowns. I am NOT going to take any of these COVID-19 vaccines until there is more known. The current vaccine roll out is THE human trial for all current COVID-19 vaccines on the market and all this nonsense spouted about they are perfectly safe to take has not yet been proven by any stretch of the imagination. Let’s see where we all are in another year or two then perhaps we will all have a bit more of a clearer understanding on the issue and a bit more confident in those products. Throwing anyone who asks questions into the anti-vaxer pot is just ignorance! I am sure I will have offended someone and my post moderated except of course if you are calling people an “anti-Vaxer” because that’s ok and fits in with the current MSM media narrative.

12 ( +16 / -4 )

Yes it is magnetic it contains iron!

Probably getting on a slight tangent, but not necessarily. Depends on the type of stainless steel, it can be ferritic (iron-based) or austenitic (chromium/nickle). Austenitic stainless steel isn't magnetic.

Either way I doubt we are talking about anything that is going to be ripped out of your system in a MRI, especially after some time has passed.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

AntiquesavingToday  09:09 am JST

There are two main types of stainless steel, austenitic and ferritic. Generally speaking the former is not magnetic and the latter, as its name implies, is.

Ok so if it’s not the stainless steal bits then let’s please find out why the two Japanese guys and anyone else who reported died after taking the Moderna vaccine or is that also going to be inconclusive. A word that seems to be extremely common these days when referring to deaths related to taking these vaccines.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Previously it was reported that the particles reacted to a magnet. Steel being a funny metal combo that depends on its past if it is magnetic or not. Did all the vial contaminants get checked to see if that are all the same.

I am wondering if the two men were injected properly. Having had all sorts of damage done to my veins by Japanese needles I wonder if the needle was into muscle. Although as they were young men that should have not been difficult. A small bit of steel into muscle wont cause to much damage but into the blood stream would.

Maybe it caused fever and medical mal-practice and bad treatment caused the death. They may have thought they were treating something else. What doctor would expect injection of steel particles as the cause of fever.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Really! ""Stainless steel is routinely used in heart valves, joint replacements and metal sutures and staples. As such, it is not expected that injection of the particles identified in these lots in Japan would result in increased medical risk."

Used as physical parts perhaps but never injected into a human body how they could even try and make it sound less serious as it is, is beyond my understanding!

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Does the labeling of those with concerns about the safety of these vaccines as "anti vaxxers" make you feel better about your non-negotiable decision to have taken it?

Not for me. I took the vaccine for the logical reason of not wanting to die or even just get seriously ill from Covid.

As for concerns about the safety of this vaccine, this particular manufacturing issue could happen to any vaccine, or any pharma product for that matter. It is not limited to this particular vaccine or these types of vaccines.

And, if people refuse to take vaccines, for any reason, they, by definition, are "anti-vaxxers". Unless you prefer something more positive, such as "pro-virus".

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

Really, I guess I missed that, do you have a Link to this and why.

I don't have a link but I remember I heard pharmaceutical company said so last year on TV but AstraZ was okay. so AstraZ vaccines have been produced in Japan. I don't know why, but probably some related to intellectual property rights or something.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Ok folks go look around, reports of the 2 men that died most either errored or omitted.

They did NOT get Vaccine from any of the contaminated lots!

So drop that part

We were inoculated with Pfizer. Thanks to our Mayor.
0 ( +5 / -5 )

if you can see a metal fragment in a vial, it won't be drawn up in a 22 or 25ga needle.

EXACTLY! That was my first thought about these particles.

Except for here on JT I have met no anti-vaccers in the Japanese population.

Must be just here in Miyazaki. Everyone I know and talk to are either fully vacced or waiting for their second jab.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

@Antiquesaving

Yes it is magnetic it contains iron!

You try sticking a magnet to food/medical grade stainless steel. It wont work. You can go to a DIY test it out yourself for free. Find a magnet in the store, bring it to piece of stainless steel and try sticking it on.

Even if it has iron, the other metals mixed in to produce stainless changed the magnetic properties.

How would something injected into the muscle of the arm ( not a vein) reach the heart?

More likely the body will leave it where it is or work it out to the skin's surface.

Maybe you're not familiar with the Iron Man movie which Kenchi and I were referencing. But the premise is that Tony Stark uses a miniature arc reactor implant to prevent shrapnel from reaching his heart and killing him.

my guess is unlike Japan they are treating this Vaccination as no different than any other ( influenza, measles, etc....) and aren't scrutinising the vials as much as Japan.

Basically they are probably going on auto mode, expecting the QC was done correctly.

If you have ever gotten a flu shot or been to the dentist and had a Novocaine ( or similar) shot here in Japan, have you even once seen the doctor, nurse, dentist, etc... examine the vial they are using?

Odds are no.

The hype and controversy surrounding these vaccines in Japan has lead to a far higher level of scrutiny.

As a former paramedic, I have seen quite a few IV bags, drug vials containing "stuff" ( the nature of paramedic work means things get knocked around a lot so we were required to check at the beginning and end of each shift). In IV bags it usually turned out to be undissolved salts, in drug vials fragments of the vial material that got broken off due to rough handling as a result of being bounce around in a fast moving vehicle.

a vaccine that's contaminated with stainless steel particles that is not expected to pose an undue risk to patients safety.

An investigation of the cases of deaths of 2 men who received doses from the contaminated vaccine are understand and considered coincidence.

But the presence of stainless steel particles in the vaccine does not pose undue risks to patients safety but may cause a reaction

About 30 years ago in a little "accident" involving a chemical reaction, I got Pepperell with glass and metal.

The doctor took out most he could find, about 20 years later poking through my skin was a piece of glass and I have had a few more come out since then some glass some metal.

The body is and amazing thing, it knows they don't belong so just push them out.

As usual.

The problem with doctors and science in general is there's little to no accountability.

Get a vaccine with steel in it? 'Woopsie, sorry about that.'

Get an operation that leaves you worse off? 'Oh, it's not related.'

Nothing is ever their fault, nothing they do is wrong. They really see themselves as infallible.

Why is it that anyone who questions anything regarding these vaccines is automatically labelled an anti-vaxer?

Effectively :

This is completely untrue.

They are not. Anti-vaxxer are labeled as anti-vaxxer. People which have question are labeled as people which have question. Usually these last type of people are able to accept their lack of knowledge and their need to go place which have the knowledge and credibility (thus youtube, twitter &co excluded, thus they will not find their question intelligent nor do they already an only acceptable answer they will accept.

Another difference with anit-vaxxer is that they do not do blanket cover of all vaccine or, conveniently, covid vaccine which include several vaccine prepared in "traditional" way.

There are also give away to recognize anti-vaxxer like blanket statement, the other, ignoring

I do not understand your problem with human trial. They were done as the current standard which are far higher than in the past (at some point they were not even existing). You find they are insufficient, go petition. No need to focus on these vaccine as that should apply to any and every medicine. drug, food, cosmetics, ... Or are you against human trial ? Feel free to develop viable alternative and to make it recognized. You think nothing should be tested on you ? Feel free to sue your parent since from your birth, they had no claim about testing stuff on you which could have killed you if unlucky, you most likely can also sue yourself to make you your own guinea pig.

If you do not want to take the vaccine what about not doing it and stopping complaining ?

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Stainless steel particles can come from a feeling system. A filling system can fill an x amount of Vails per minute. If the maintenance is not performed correctly or the filling system is pushed over the capacity then particles can be generated. This is indeed a serious matter and likely it will be investigated by PMDA (japanese FDA)

There should never been any kind of foreign matter inside a medicine. Even if it is not injected directly inside the bloodstream still the body will try to get this particle outside the body by the bloodstream.

It is amazing the number of recalled vaccines, injectable painkillers, anesthetics, and other injectable drugs like epinephrine, insulin, etc..

Over the years most contaminated with stuff far more worrisome than a possible very tiny piece of stainless steel.

Things like other drugs, disinfectants, even bacteria.

Often these are judged not "significant" and results in a "voluntary" recall.

But we rarely see these plastered on the front page of the news

In 2020 millions of doses of dental injectable anesthetic were recalled world wide due to cross contamination, didn't even get picked up by any major news outlet, just quietly recalled, the contaminations were multiple from other forms of anesthetic to disinfectant

Who on this post had the Moderna vaccine?

I have, my wife, daughter and son.

My ex-wife ( mother of my children) actually got vaccinated with one of the contaminated lots.

She doesn't seem to really be worried about it in the slightest.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

Moderna needs a new PR company/Person.

How do we know these aren't like tiny razors being injected? I use stainless steel daily, but that doesn't mean I want to be injected with any.

My state started offering a 3rd dose of vaccines a few days ago for high-risk people. I was planning to do some research about mixing that 3rd dose rather than getting more Pfizer and the early reading says that sticking with an mRNA type was showing encouraging results in trials. I won't get it until 8 months after my last dose and by then the studies should be much clearer on what appears to be the most effective. For some reason, thought that J&J's vaccine would complement the mRNA ones, but haven't seen studies about that. mRNA + AZ is studied with papers about the be released. Regardless, whatever the health department suggests is what I'll do ... in December. Assuming they remove the stainless steel.

One of my students who's Japanese and a university student got the Moderna vaccine yesterday. I asked him if he'd heard the reports about it, and he told me that he had. I then asked him if he was a nervous about it. Are you feeling ok after your vaccination ?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

With nearly half of Japan's population getting vaccinated in the span of a couple of months, naturally some people that died will have died after getting vaccinated. Similar is true for other countries. So blaming the vaccine for every death that happened to occur a few days or weeks after is a bit premature.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Yes - I've had Moderna @zichi. Very happy about it too! Second jab gave me a pretty mind bending 24 hours and a very sore arm.

You don't have to understand it fully to commit to the vaccine.

My wife has been against all vaccines from before I met her and that is decades ago. So are some of her friends. The Mayor of my town is pro-choice so has advised people to make their own mind up without pushing the agenda and recently wrote a message regarding the under 18's which was agnostic in tone.

I am pro-choice and decided not to have Tizer because of my own personal medical history. As there is talk of vaccine escape, boosters and the vaccines are reportedly only 60% effective. Plus the fact I feel I have already had sars2, so my natural immune system will be better next time around my hesitency has increased.

I will accept if I get very ill and die that is my own fault. I will accept if the loonies decide you can only travel if you are jabbed I will all accept I am stuck in Japan. That is my choice and I can always change my mind when and if things change. I will not accept that by not having the vaccine I am putting anyone else at risk especially when I see the daily non-social distancing, the failure to wear maskes properly and so on.

I still feel that once the Olympic circus has left town that some sense of reality will open up in the Japanese government. So the next few weeks is going to show the true future. Up until now it has all been panto season level thinking.

As stated by the nurse, who posted above: the size of the needle would not permit a large stainless steel fragment to be injected. The inner diameter of the needle: 0.11 inches.

There is no valid reason or excuse for metal fragments to be in a vial of vaccine. However, there is no health hazard, as it is an intramuscular shot.

Outsourcing to a contractor in Spain. Not very wise.

Takeda, is responsible for the distribution of the Moderna vaccine in Japan. Takeda is also involved in developing and potential manufacture of the TAK-019, vaccine.

You know that millions of unvaccinated have already died and you're choosing to remain unprotected from that which killed them.

That's true. And right now 1000s of fully vaccinated people are succumbing to the virus daily. Despite the first waves already taking out a large % of the most vulnerable.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

I hope Japan and other nations developing their own succeed in making highly effective ones also

That would be good. I just wish they'd go faster.

Though maybe they don't need to hurry from a business standpoint. The only competition they face in Japan is from dangerous and highly ineffective vaccines.

I have not been keeping tabs, hopefully the vaccine do protect them from developing a severe form of the disease.

And I hope that you reconsider the vaccines available here, even if what you believe is true, 30% protection is better than not having any

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

That's what happens when you source your vaccines from dodgy countries.

Over 1000 died in Japan after vaccination.

Investigations did not result in any causal relationship.

Maybe.

But hard to believe not even one death is vaccine related. Government and pharmaceutical companies will not take responsibilities. We will know the truth in a few years, when class action could be taken

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

But hard to believe not even one death is vaccine related.

What difference would one death make? It'd be tragic for the decedents family, sure, but one death, or even several hundred, wouldn't mean the vaccine is worth it.

Almost 131 million jabs have been given in Japan (as of Tuesday) - Do people really think that out of 72 million people (58 million who have had 2 shots) that there wouldn't have been deaths in that group from other, very natural causes???

0 ( +3 / -3 )

In the US, the federal government has granted companies like Pfizer and Moderna immunity from liability if something unintentionally goes wrong with their vaccines. I wonder if Japan has something like a "blanket immunity law" too.

Of course. But the VAERS (and corresponding European) data are what they are. The current "operation warp speed" mRNA shots are off the scale compared to traditional vaccines. A background scatter of completely random coincidences would be same for all vaccines, but it is not. That this often-heard argument is a non-starter.

Thank God I have not got the vaccine. I cant beleive what I am reading.

Exactly.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

I'd like to add to my earlier comment below that the "blanket immunity" granted to pharmaceutical companies doesn’t just guard them against lawsuits. It helps them lower the cost of immunizations which sounds more like "cutting corners". How anyone can believe without a doubt that the current vaccines are truly "safe" is beyond me. The choice is yours, of course.

Stainless steel with mRNA?

What a cocktail!

Which probably isn't much.

I got Moderna for the same reason, as I did my research.

I also knew Pfizer all to well and it's amazing PR and damage control sections.

Pfizer has more subsidiaries than Tokyo Metro has stations.

These are the same factories producing the vaccine.

Pfizer's subsidiaries have been the subject of major "voluntary" recalls over the years from vaccines to anesthetics always barely avoiding investigation and mandatory recalls, I suspect because of its size, power and influence with the regulating authorities.

And their PR section always seem to manage to keep it out of the news.

Case in point, while everyone was talking about AZ blood clots the UK NHS stats showed an equal number and percentage of blood clots after Pfizer vaccine, but that was barely mentioned by any major news outlet.

In both cases it was very rare but only AZ got headlines.

Also, related to a couple of my comments below, it should be known that Alex Azar (Health and Human Services Secretary) invoked the PREP Act (Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act). The 2005 law empowers the HHS secretary to provide legal protection to companies making or distributing "critical" medical supplies, such as VACCINES & TREATMENTS, unless there’s willful misconduct by the companyThis protection lasts until 2024 and means that for the next 3 years, pharmaceuticals like Pfizer or Moderna cannot be sued for money damages over injuries pertaining to the administration or use of products to treat or protect against COVID-19.

Note: This is not fake news nor is it misinformation.

The current vaccine roll out is THE human trial for all current COVID-19 vaccines on the market and all this nonsense spouted about they are perfectly safe to take

I agree complety. I’ve noticed a correlation between the “woke” and the aggressively pro vaccine. They embrace both wokeism and the vaccines with a religeous kind of fervour, and woe betide anyone who questions it.

Don’t just sit on your behind doing nothing.

Get vaccinated!

There is no Graphene Oxide in ANY of the vaccines in use as of now, including the Russian and Chinese vaccines. It is however used in the delivery of FluMist which I, like many millions take intra nasally every year.

@Expat Vaccinated or unvaccinated- if you catch Covid you still carry the same viral load.

Do you have a source for those stats? The link below says that up till August 4, there were 412 reports of thrombosis events with low platelets following the AZ vaccine. And up to 11 August, there were 15 reports of thrombosis events with low platelets following vaccination with the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. (The total number of doses administered for each vaccine are similar.)

"Those who got sick or the families of those died from this contaminated vaccine should be compensated from Moderna big time for this." All the jab-makers have legal immunity. Good luck...

"Does the labeling of those with concerns about the safety of these vaccines as "anti vaxxers" make you feel better about your non-negotiable decision to have taken it?"

Exactly. I am not anti-jab, just too many uncertainties at the moment, (this article among them) which are staying my hand.

Well isnt that a load off our minds? Thankyou, Doctor!

“I will accept if I get very ill and die that is my own fault.” Does that mean you will do it at home or by taking a space away from someone more deserving in a hospital intensive care unit? Get vaccinated!

The report was way back at the start of the blood clot issue.

I no longer have the link but posted it multiple times back then.

But below is the latest study showing the same thing.

if you catch Covid you still carry the same viral load.

no vaccine is 100% effective, but your chance of developing serious symptoms being hospitalized , long term health problems and dying from covid is greatly reduced,

thats why wearing a mask and social distancing is also required even when vaccinated.

vaccinated in the US and Japan account for less than 20% of hospitalised and less than 2% of deaths from covid. these are the scientific proven facts, downvote me all you like doesnt change the facts about this pandemic.

now if you dont want to get vaccinated because you might still carry the same viral load as an unvaccinated person then you clearly dont understand vaccines, pandemics and virus mutations

0 ( +7 / -7 )

Get vaccinated!

Halleluja!

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

I will not accept that by not having the vaccine I am putting anyone else at risk"

and this is a major reason why the pandemic continues to spread, if youre unvaccinated and stay home then sure that is correct but if you go out become asymptomatic then you can spread the virus and are partially to blame, vaccinated people have much lower chance of become asymptomatic

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

@stormcrow

I wonder if you can list things that would make one person more/less deserving of hospital treatment than another.

For example does a salary person who drinks, smokes, sits down all day and does no exercise even on Sundays really need that pace maker just because he decides to have the vaccine and wear a mask?

Actually I would not want to go near an ICU and am actually very worried someone would want to put a tube down my throat to save my life. I have given strict instructions to my wife to refuse such treatment. She has been told I will accept an oxygen mask but nothing invasive.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Hasn’t Japan realized by now vaccines do not work as promised?

why they keep marching down that road is beyond me.

lots of other effective tools out there.

-1 ( +6 / -7 )

@Nator - @stormcrow makes an excellent argument and is correct. Hopefully most people won't NEED hospital treatment if they just went and got their shot rather than trying to put others off having it.
